Refund policy

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to contact us regarding a return or refund request.

Under Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.

However, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or compensation if an item has a major problem. A major problem is when the item:

  • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they had known about it

  • is unsafe

  • is significantly different from the sample or description
    (please note that colour variations can occur due to different monitor or screen settings and may not qualify under this condition)

  • does not do what we said it would do, or what you asked for, and cannot be easily fixed

If the issue is not major, we may offer a repair or other appropriate remedy in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Alternatively, you may choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any reduction in value.


Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and unaltered

  • Fabric must not have been cut, washed, sewn, or otherwise altered after delivery

  • Proof of purchase is required

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for fabric that has been cut, altered, or used, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.


How to Request a Return

To start a return, please contact us at admin@fabrictrove.com.au within 30 days of purchase.

Please do not send items back without first contacting us, as unsolicited returns will not be accepted.

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your item.


Return Shipping

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect

  • Original shipping fees are included in refunds where required under Australian Consumer Law


Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so we can assess the issue and resolve it promptly.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Cut, altered, or used fabric

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

Please contact us before purchasing if you are unsure about a specific item.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
The fastest way to receive a different item is to request a return (if eligible), and once approved, place a new order separately.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method, including applicable shipping costs, within 10 business days.
Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.
